When applied, DHA (the active ingredient in Sunless tanning solution) reacts with the proteins in the skin’s superficial layer to form a golden brown color. Your skin begins to darken two to three hours after application and reaches its peak colour within 24 hours. The color will gradually fade through natural exfoliation, just like a tan from the sun.

You will begin to see results around 2-4 hour mark, the solution will continue to develop for up to 6 hours after your session. However when you feel that it’s reached the colour you want you can rinse off to stop the development of the solution.
- Shower as soon as you can before coming in for your Spray-Tan and thoroughly exfoliate your body paying special attention to your elbows, knees, ankles and hands.
- Avoid waxing and/or shaving immediately before or after your spray tan application.
- Don’t wear any makeup, lotion, perfume or deodorant before your tan.
- Wear dark loose clothing and thongs to the appointment. The tan dries very quickly but it may run off on to your clothing a little bit. But don’t worry it washes out of most fabrics! This prevents marks from rubbing.
- You should not wear any jewellery when getting a Spray-Tan.
